DayNest uses Google services only when a user explicitly connects their Google account and provides consent. Google user data is used solely to deliver core application functionality.
DayNest allows users to connect their Google account to enable Google Photos album functionality for a child profile. DayNest requests only the minimum permissions necessary to create albums, upload media generated within the platform, and access media created by the application. DayNest does not access the user's entire Google Photos library. Access is granted only after explicit consent via Google OAuth.
When integration is enabled, DayNest may access the Google account email address (for authentication), permission to create albums, upload media, and access media created by DayNest. The application does not access unrelated personal photos or videos.
Google Photos access is used solely to create a child-specific album, upload media generated within DayNest, and allow authorized parents or guardians to view that media. The data is not used for advertising, profiling, marketing, or AI model training.
DayNest does not sell, rent, or share Google user data. Media remains stored in the user's own Google account. Infrastructure providers within the European Union may process data strictly for service operation purposes under data protection agreements.
All data is transmitted via encrypted HTTPS connections. Authentication tokens are securely stored. Access to API credentials is restricted. Servers are hosted within the European Union under industry-standard security practices.
Access tokens are stored only while the account is active and integration is enabled. Users may disconnect integration anytime or request account deletion via support@daynest.eu. Upon deletion, tokens are permanently removed and access is revoked.
DayNest complies with the Google API Services User Data Policy, including Limited Use requirements. Google user data is used only to provide user-facing functionality and is not transferred to third parties except as required to operate the service.
